Assi Ceremony
Assi Ceremony: Evening finds Pandits (Hindu priests) performing the Hindu Aarti Ceremony -the “Agni Pooja” (Worship to Fire) in front of a huge crowd riverside. Standing atop of raised platforms and carrying on high the fire bearing vessels that serve as a link between this world & the spirit world, Assi Ghat, Varanasi India.
